ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

Building consists of two office wings linked by a glazed central atrium which breaks the classical rhythm of a façade. Restaurant and cafeteria are placed in a separate pavilion linked to the building with a glass corridor. Contemporary concrete and steel structure is matched with a classical approach based on a proportions of a golden section. The central atrium was been used for the world chess championship. Guy Perry made all sections and interior elevations of the building while working with Taller de Arquitectura.
