IN-VI began operations in Europe in Poland (Warsaw) in 2000. Since that time, IN-VI has overseen the ongoing and award winning (ISOCARP Award for Excellence 2008) development of a mixed-use community for over 35 000 inhabitants near the Wilanów Palace in Warsaw (Miasteczko Wilanów). The project already serves as a model of sustainable growth in the emerging markets. In the Mokotow district IN-VI is designing a contemporary loft structure - Woronicza Qubik. IN-VI has also designed a prestigious residential enclave Konstantin Gardenville near Warsaw. In Wroclaw the company is currently working on a new district near the city center – Vratislavia Promenades - as well as a new community outside that city in Kębłowice. The company also designed the concept of the most prestigious new residential neighborhood in the traditional Krzyki district Hallera Gardens. In the Tri-Cities IN-VI has designed the most popular Aqua Park (in Poland) and one of the largest tennis centers in Central Europe (in Gdynia).
In 2001 IN-VI began a work in other parts of Central Europe, even in Serbia where the firm had a chief advisory role for the reconstruction of the Usce Tower in Belgrade. In Prague IN-VI masterplanned a 70 hectare district following the worst flood in that city in a century. On the Ukrainian market, IN-VI created a sustainable strategy for the development of Dnipro waterfront, a residential district and shopping center in Kiev and master-planned a resort community in Crimea. Other projects in Central Europe include a mixed-use regeneration of a downtown district in Budapest: The Corvin Promenade. The Centrop Valley project, near Bratislava and Vienna is the largest project in Europe. For decades the Valley between Carpathian Mountains and Morava River was underdeveloped because of its strategic location along the iron curtain and the border with Austria. The site is ideally suited to absorb much of central Europe’s immediate growth.
IN-VI also began operations in Brazil in 2005 with the opening of the Sao Paulo office. In September 2006 IN-VI Brasil formed a join-venture with Buena Vista Hospitality Group and Roig Grupo Corporativo to optimally capitalize upon the remarkable opportunities in this rapidly developing market. By 2007 IN-VI had opened a second office, this time in Aracaju in the North-East. IN-VI Brasil with its partners are jointly designing and developing a number of projects from the center of Sao Paulo to the shores of Rio de Janeiro, Sergipe, Alagoas and Bahia. IN-VI is also working toward preserving large tracks of the Amazon (commended in the MIPIM Future Project Awards in the innovation category). The economic timing for entry into the market could not have been better. IN-VI works carefully with government agencies and authorities to ensure efficient development schedules and value enhancement for the regions in which we work.
IN-VI represents many of these projects through presentations at the world’s most important real estate and planning forums (United Nations, MIPIM, Barcelona Meeting Point, Expo Real, Cityscape, Real Vienna, GRI, ULI events, etc.). IN-VI has received the numerous awards for its master planning and architectural design, including commendations from Architecture Review and an award for excellence from ISPOCARP. Guy Perry has also participated in projects that have won AIA and MIPIM Awards. IN-VI work has been widely published.
IN-VI now has 7 offices, 5 of which are in Europe and 2 in South America, with around 50 employees and another 50 which are IN-VI associates. Over the last 8 years, IN-VI has established a track record of redefining and implementing the highest standards in transition markets.
