Wuzhong, China MIXED-USE COMMERCIAL, OFFICE, RESIDENTIAL AND LIVE-WORK UNITS
A new center for Wuzhong incorporating 45,000 m² of retail and entertainment center, 35,000 m² of residential and 30,000 m² of office space. Much of the office and residential is interchangeable by design in order to incorporate energy trading families which are the core of the local economy in the energy rich region. The retail is designed as an internal gallery for the harsh winters, but opens to a complimentary roof top leisure area for the mild summer season. The project is organized to enliven the street scape and to engage an adjacent entertainment street. |
