Ain Chkef Fez, Morocco THE PRIMARY URBAN EXTENSION OF THE HISTORIC CITY OF FEZ
The 1900-hectare site effectively expands the city by nearly 25%. It will include the region’s most important manufacturing and logistics center, a regional shopping destination, universities, a 150-hectare park and over 40 thousands residences units of all types. The project is designed to create high quality self-sustaining mixed-use districts during each 5 year phase of the 30-year development strategy. The project protects sensitive ecosystems that run through the site while promoting high-density development areas that are of a neighborhood scale. |
